Common questions
Will my photos lose quality?
A JPG is embedded into the PDF as it is, without re-encoding, so it keeps exactly the quality it had. Other formats are converted to JPG or PNG first, which is a single high-quality pass.
Should I choose 'fit image' or 'A4'?
Fit image makes each page exactly the shape of its picture — best for viewing on screen, no borders. A4 scales everything onto a standard page, which is what you want if the document is going to be printed or submitted to a form that expects A4.
Can I combine images and an existing PDF?
Make a PDF of your images here first, then use the merge tool to join it to the other document.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. Every PDF tool here runs inside your browser. The file is read from disk, worked on in memory, and written back out — it is never sent to a server. That matters more for documents than photos: contracts, statements and ID scans are exactly the things you should not be uploading to a stranger's website.
