Most file tools on the web work by uploading your file, doing something to it on a server, and giving it back. This one doesn’t, and that changes what there is to say about privacy.
Your files stay on your device
Every tool runs in your browser. A file you add is read into memory, processed there, and written back out to your downloads. It is never sent to a server, because there is no server involved in the work.
Nothing is stored
We keep no copy of anything you open here. Closing the tab discards it. There is no file history, no account, and no way for us to retrieve something you processed.
No account, no email
You never need to sign up, log in, or hand over an address to use a tool. We don't ask for personal information we have no use for.
Analytics
We measure which tools get used and whether they succeed, using Mixpanel. What that records is counts and timings — a file's size, its dimensions, its format, how long processing took, and whether it worked. If something breaks we also record the error message and which page it happened on, so we can fix it. Your filename is never sent, and neither is any part of the image itself. We don't know who you are and don't try to find out.
Cookies
Visitors in Europe are measured without a cookie or any stored identifier at all, which is why you aren't being asked to accept anything. Elsewhere, a single anonymous identifier lets us tell a returning visitor from a new one. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we skip analytics entirely and never load it.
Advertising
These tools are free and will be supported by display advertising. Ads sit around the tool, never on top of it, and never disguised as a download button. Ad networks may set their own cookies; that is the one place third-party code is involved.
