Common questions
Is a drawn signature legally valid?
In many places a drawn signature on a document is accepted for everyday agreements, and it is what most people mean by signing a PDF. It is not the same as a cryptographic digital signature, which proves identity and detects tampering. If a contract specifically requires a certified digital signature, you need a service built for that.
Why does it matter that this runs on my device?
Because a signature is the one thing you should be most careful about uploading. Every other online signing tool receives an image of your signature and the document it belongs to. This one never sends either anywhere.
Can I add the date and my name too?
