Common questions
Is there really no account?
None. There is no sign-up form, no email verification and no trial period, because there is no server doing the work and therefore nothing to attach an account to. The tool is JavaScript that runs on your machine.
Will there be a watermark on the file?
No. The download is your document with your changes on it, and nothing else added.
How many documents can I edit?
As many as you like. There is no counter, because there is nothing counting — the work happens on your device rather than on a machine that has to be paid for per file.
What is the catch?
The honest one: this adds marks and text on top of a page. It does not rewrite the text already in the document, which needs font subsetting and reflow and is genuinely a server's job. For marking up a draft or filling a printed form — what most people mean by editing a PDF — that is exactly what you want.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. Every PDF tool here runs inside your browser. The file is read from disk, worked on in memory, and written back out — it is never sent to a server. That matters more for documents than photos: contracts, statements and ID scans are exactly the things you should not be uploading to a stranger's website.
