Common questions
Does cropping delete the content outside the box?
No. It sets the page's crop box, which is how the PDF format expresses a visible area — the content is still there and any PDF editor can undo it. If you need content genuinely removed, that isn't cropping.
Why didn't the file get smaller?
Because nothing was removed. Cropping changes which part of each page is displayed, not what the page contains, so the size stays about the same.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. Every PDF tool here runs inside your browser. The file is read from disk, worked on in memory, and written back out — it is never sent to a server. That matters more for documents than photos: contracts, statements and ID scans are exactly the things you should not be uploading to a stranger's website.
